Running in San Sebastian or Jaca Spain

Hi. My name is Tamara, and I am planning on spending the month of July studying Spanish in Spain. I am trying to decide between Jaca and San Sebastian. San Sebastian sounds like it would be more fun, but I am concerned about whether it would be a good place to train for a marathon. I am running the Chicago marathon in October and so I will need to be doing some pretty serious distance. Does anyone have any insights into training in either of these places? Does anyone know of any running groups in either place? Does anyone know about the possibilities for soft surface running (ie parks, trails, etc. etc.). Thanks.
