visas for spain

Hi my name is tom I am british but i am currently living in the philippines.I want to bring my philippina girl friend to live with me in spain in about a years time.As a EU member i think i am allowed to live in spain.My problem is my girlfriend.I know spain looks upon the peoples of of its former colonies with a little more lenient attitude.I am not sure but i think philippinos only have to live in spain for 2 years before acquiring residency.I wonder if anyone can help me there and advise me the bestway to go at this.I want eventual citizenship for my philippino girlfriend of spain.I hope someone can help thanks
