Dear all,
Just wanted some advice on the rules regarding building in Spain.
We are looking at purchasing a villa in the Valencia region which is about 145sqm. There is also land - just over 10000sqm
I am keen to expand it by adding a pool and outdoor 1/2 bedroom casita with a little outdoor kitchen, possibly a gym etc. I know the rules state that the footprint of the building (being the villa) can only be 2% and also a total construction size cannot exceed 4%.
What I can’t find is any reference to whether the total build size can be spread over multiple buildings as long as the total build size is not exceeded.
So would the above be feasible? I have seen other properties with these types of additions but wondered how they go about getting permission to do it.
Thanks, and advice is much appreciated.
