Malaga or Seville

I would be most grateful to hear from your experience living in Malaga or Seville. More specifically, availability of apartments for rent in a very decent area (if you know a reputable, reliable realtor would appreciate info). Approximate rent for a 2BR partially furnished. Cost of living. I am a EU citizen (living in Canada and moving back to Europe - retiring) so will not have any questions about visas, permanent residency etc. I don't know Spain very well and will decide by end Feb whether it will be Spain or Italy. I know Italy fairly well and love it!
