Andalucia to retire

Hi all!

Looking into retiring in Andalucia area (from USA) and would like to know of fellow retirees who live in Spain on how they manage with setting up there regarding
1. visas
2.taxes
3.housing- how was the buying process as a foreigner?
4. health- if you have chronic medical needs, have you found it easy to communicate and get the care you need.
5. Pets- Has anyone brought their pets with them? Was this difficult?

6. lastly- recommendations for villages in Andalucia to check out that have an expat community
