Hello, DH and I (age 65 and 61) are retired, currently living in Miami, FL and would like to move to Spain. We will be taking our 60 lb. Goldendoodle with us.
We would love to live in Madrid, but it appears this will be out of our price range. We do not want to live in an area that is extremely hot because (we are sick of the heat in Miami LOL) but more temperate areas. Our total income is about $3500/mos. We are not looking for a luxurious but comfortable lifestyle. We do not want to sell our Miami home as we will eventually return home. Do any of you have recommendations about areas with temperate climate, dog friendly, good public transportation and reasonable rents (no more than $1000./mos furnished? Any and all suggestions would be most welcome, Thank you in advance !
