Advice about moving to Galicia

My husband and I will be moving to Galicia in April of 2020. We're still looking where to since we'll not have a car. The city we move to needs to have good public transportation and also a train station. I know a few like Santiago, Vigo and maybe Corña have an airport, right?
At this point we're looking in Ourense but we are open to any other city.
We're also planing on renting for 6 months in case we decide to move somewhere else.
Any advice you could give me will be highly appreciate it.
Also, if you know where to find information about taxation for Americans.
Thank you in advance
