Moving Car to Spain

Someone posted only bringing a car with them as for possessions, saying it was very easy from the US. Living in Colombia contemplating a move to Valencia, our Chevy dealer said it was unbelievably difficult and subject to different requirements than here in Colombia.

Is this true?
