Help with the "plan" to get to Spain

Hi. Just as many in the US, I am ready to make the commitment to a relocation to Spain. My plan is to move in 3 yrs- when kids graduate from college. Does anyone have a 24 or 36-month "plan" that they might share for my personal planning purposes? I have already started the downsizing process. Thank you.
