Moving to Spain by 2022

Hi there, my wife and I are trying to move to Spain by 2022. We have not settled on a place yet, we are wondering if anybody has rented in different cities, maybe 2 or 3 months at a time for the first year or two until the decision is made. We have visited Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Granada, but we would like to visit Valencia, Alicante and the northern part of Spain before we make a decision. We speak Spanish fluently.
