Australians That Have Moved to Spain

Hi there

We are about to make the move to Spain in 4 weeks! Crazy times to move but that's another story.

I would like to find out if there are any Aussies here that moved to Spain with a mover and needed to get a certificate of residency, what is it exactly? I know we need it to show we have lived in Australia for 12 months so we don't pay customs duties on our belongings once they enter Spain. We have requested it from the ATO as well as the Italian consulate (we are dual citizens) but our mover doesn't have seem to have a clue and the agent in Spain keeps asking for it. Thought to ask here in case there were an Aussies lurking around!
