I am English and my partner she is Romanian. We are intending to move to Spain in the near future but wish to purchase a property now. Have been looking at many coastal areas.

The area of Guardamar is of interest.

Can someone tell us what the ex pat social life is like, beach cafe's, bars ,restaurants etc. Are there any Golf societys ? Sports bars (Arsenal Fan)

At present we live in North Cyprus which is pleasant and cheap but lacks in variety of cafe's,restaurants, bars etc.
