Possible move to Columbo

Hi my husband has been offered a job in Columbo which we are considering. We're yet to find out tax implications on earnings etc as all very new. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me generally what it is like living as a British family in Columbo. We have a son who is 3 months old. Thanks
