Visa help?

Hi,

I have just got a job in Sri Lanka working for an NGO, with the plan to move from the UK in a couple of months time. I am trying to work out how a visa will work for my spouse, who is hoping to find work in Colombo when we arrive.

Does anyone know how visas of this kind work? Will he be able to get a visa that allows him to seek employment?
