Is this a good idea

Hello everyone / anyone. I am a 59 year old married man, disillusioned with UK life, but feel there is a last big adventure in me. Both wife and I have visited SL a couple of times and like everything we have seen. We both need to work and would intend to see out our last days there. Is this the most ridiculous idea ever, or has anyone out there done something similar? We would both value advice and opinion. Many Thanks
