undergraduate in netherlands

Hi, I'm currently an American communicating w/ Optiver, financial firm based in Amsterdam, on getting an entry-level job when I graduate next year. I know it's a year away, but time flies.

I'm worried about a lot of issues: pay, standard of living, work permits, adjusting to working abroad and being a fresh undergrad, friends, etc.

Can I get some advice for those who live there?
