Moving To IJmuiden in May 2010

Hello Forum! My name is Phylise. I just joined Expat Exchange. I am from NYC and planning to marry a Dutchman in May 2010. He and I decided that I should move to the Netherlands because he has a business in Ijmuiden. At first we thought that my Dutchman should move to the United States but being that I don't make a lot of money with my current job and the economy is bad at the moment. If anyone can give me advice on what sort of documentation is needed for a US citizen to marry a Dutch citizen in the Netherlands it would be much appreciated. I would like to hear of experiences similar to mine. Thanks so much!
