GBA Registration

My partner, EU citizen, and I, US citizen, are moving from California to Utrecht in June. Does anyone know if GBA considers California Domestic Partnerships as equivlanet to Registered Partnership in the Netherlands? I know that the UK sees them as equivalent, but I cannot find any information on the IND website. Thanks!
