Once again a new comer

I have been offered a job in Abu Dhabi to start in 2 weeks. I am feeling very anxious about all of this. I'm an American currently living in London. I was wondering what it's like to live there. What is housing and the social life like? I would like to be in contact with other Americans just on this front. Not that I'll turn away any help. lol

Does anyone have a dog over there? How either did you bring it over? Do you know how to bring it back? Is it easy to have a dog there, especially in company housing?

Also has/does anyone work for Reem Emerates Aluminum? Can you tell me anything about them?
