Please give advice

Been gone from Zim for 8 years and busy finding a job as I want to come back.

If anyone who is still living in Zim could give information about the following, I'd be grateful:

1. What would bringing my pets along entail?
2. What is really short in Zim - what should one definitely bring? What foodstuffs, if any, medical supplies, books, music??
3. How available is furniture and where would be the best to get it?
4. I aim to plant veggies - how available is seed?
5. Gifts for people - what would be most welcome?

Any information on what its like living in Zim now and what one should prepare for, would be appreciated.
