Two separate facilities for elementary and secondary; playgrounds, fields, courts. Ball sports, clubs, etc are available after school.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
My child loves QSI Chengdu. She is absolutely thriving. The mastery program, while not perfect, ensures student success, which leads to positive academic and social growth. The American curriculum provided a smooth transition for my daughter.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
There is a parent support group of sorts.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I would absolutely recommend QSI in Chengdu. There were several changes in administration a few years ago, which has led to a structured, stable, positive school climate. Teachers are excellent, school morale is positive, and consistency of education and expectations is exemplary.
