Diverse ethnic mix - I am white british and my wife is indian and we have experienced no issues at all. They seem very accepting and polite.

What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?

Airbus is the largest employer but there are others Thales, Capgemini, CNES, Astrium etc. If you speak french and you are a techy should not be too difficult to find a job.

In general, what are peoples' priorities in this city? For example, do lives revolve around work, family, socializing, sports, etc.?

Work generally, with lots of activities organised by the company you work for. There is plenty to do restaurants, bars cinema in the city.

I've been living near Toulouse for about 2 years now, it's such a lovely city! It's the fourth-largest city in France and it really feels like a booming place. It's called 'la Ville Rose' in French (the Pink City) because of its unique architecture made of pinkish terracotta bricks.
