Helsinki is an incredibly international city, with a population of approximately 600,000 people and a growing number of expats and migrants. The city has a policy of integration, with a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences represented by both the local and expat population. Helsinki is a very accepting city, with various initiatives to support diversity within the city, such as their LGBT+ Pride events, initiatives to promote equality and cohesion, and events celebrating different religious and cultural occasions. Additionally, Helsinki is becoming more inclusive each year, with a wide range of cultures and backgrounds being embraced and new and unique experiences being celebrated.
