Driving- either by a private school bus or own transport
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
Air-conditioned class rooms and dining area, modern, well- equipped auditorium, swimming pool, playing field.
Strong on drama-two productions a year. Good sports activities with opportunities to compete in soccer, basket ball, swimming, athletics with other schools in India, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Very good community service programme
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
IB is excellent preparation for universities in the UK and USA.Our daughter, who was at the school for 9 years, had 6 offers to study law at UK universities.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Good last year when the school celebrated 50 years. Strong PTA. Welcome BBQ for all at start of school year
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Look round all the iternational schools in Colombo-we did and decided that OSC was by far the best.
