Excellent top-notch facilities. Recent upgrade to field rm 2 million investment. CCAs are varied from sports, to creative thinking and community outreach projects - A very impressive selection. Very happy with the variety available.
Not applicable to us. We are locals. However, we are on the School's mailing list & we've received several invitations inviting expatriate families to attend talks & discussions on the subject; this included a recent PTF talk on employment opportunities, advice & living tips in Malaysia.
Very good. These meets are regular; 2-3 times per term, with a lot of interaction between teachers & parents. Mr Mann, the principal, is a hands-on individual and has attended all all the meets making him approachable & very accessible.
There may be a wait-list as admission is competitive.
This school is well-runned and dynamic. There is healthy sense of competitiveness and the atmosphere is invigorating. Glad to be a part of the school! My son who used to hate his primary school looks forward to his year 8 classes each day & has remarked that time flies at GiS. That is indeed a compliment to the teachers and to the school. Keep up the good work, GIS!

Expats in Malaysia agree that living in Malaysia has its pros and cons. Expats love the welcoming Malay people, cultural diversity, lower cost of living and amazing food. Many find that the noisiness, dirty city streets and dangerous driving conditions can be a challenge. Where you choose to live makes a big difference in lifestyle as well.
