Visa income verification

Advice please. I met with someone at the Argentinian consulate in New York City to present information I would need for a retirement visa. She said that the letter I had from Social Security, confirming my monthly payment, needed to be signed by a Social Security agent. I went to the local Social Security office, and they said they do not sign such letters. The man there just printed another copy of the letter. I had already downloaded online and handed it to me. has anyone else had this issue? This is an important part of my income stream. I also was asked to provide a signed statement from my pension fund. My pension fund sent a statement without a signature. I don’t know what to do now.
