Hi there!
Just starting to research options to consider for life after 50.

I know we definitely want to travel and experience the world.

We want to feel secure, accepted and comfortable in our community.

We have a high school aged boy that is interested in a career in the medical field and is very open to exploring what the world has to offer!

We would greatly appreciate any and all candid advice, experiences and endeavors!

Hope everyone is living their best life!

I am a sale manger who works for his own community. I am married with 4 year old daughter. we decided to immigrate to Australia from Iran because it is a first world country, although it has some drawbacks. in recent years I had some achievements in my career and could accumulate wealth enough for my family however after advent of covid 19 everything changed. needless to say that covid 19 effected all countries include Australia but I know well that this country has its own stability and I can count on it better than my country ( I hope ). As I consider no end for improvement, I tend to experience new situation while I am 32.
after about 1 year I could receive invitation for may family and by 188 visa ( temperory business visa ) I am in the way of Australia.
It is vitally important to me to investigate enough about my destination ( Newcastle, Australia ) about lifestyle , expenses and businesses to see how will be our future. To be honest like vast majority of immigrants I am afraid of immigration especially because we have adequate facilities.

Back in the Southland after more than a decade abroad. The bulk of the time was split between the US and Europe, based in NYC for the longest stretch.. Working as an engineer in a pre-pandemic career that found me on average, travelling to a different country a month.

I relocated back to Aus with my wife at the start of 2021. We are still in the process of readjusting to our sunny and solitary (new for her, old for me) homeland.

We are moving to Brisbane from Canada and looking to meet new people and enjoy the new surroundings. Not sure what to do for fun or how people spend their time there.
Looking for advice on becoming acclimated to new living surroundings.
Can't wait to be there!

My husband and I are looking to come to Australia to live. He has been in the Automotive industry in Canada for over 25 yrs. Are there any opportunities for Sales or Finance people within the dealerships that will help us get there?

I am an automotive recruiter for Australia. We having been large numbers of automotive technicians, diesel truck technicians, diesel plant technicians and agricultural technicians in roles over many years.

Whilst the minimum salary for the visa is $53,900 per year, we have been placing technicians on at least $60,000 per year, plus 10 per cent pension plan, overtime (at 150 or 200 per cent of the hourly rate), productivity bonuses for a 38 hour week.

All costs for Australian Government fees, migration agent professional fees and the recruitment fee are paid for by the Australian dealership.

Hi,

I was born and grew up in France but I lived in Melbourne Australia for the past 19 years. And recently arrived in New Jersey, currently living in Jersey City with my American wife and our daughter

Hello, everybody =) I'm Stessy and on Christmas eve I arrived with my family in Sydney. Everything was new and we didn't have PCR test results, so we almost got stuck in four walls. Hopefully, we brought some boarding games and other entertainment with us ;)
Now, I started settling in and enjoying everyday life here. Love this sunny weather we missed it a lot in Estonia.
Looking for new connections and good recommendations on how to feel here free as a native =)
