Taxes for Expats

My husband and I are thinking of applying for the QRP program after we spend a month in Belize at the end of September 2013, with the intention of moving if we like what we see. We have a pension and Social Security and are nervous about the taxes we will have to pay to the IRS, despite living in Belize. We also have no clue HOW to pay taxes to the U.S. if we do live in Belize. We've only just begun our research and would appreciate any advice or recommendations on this topic. We are excited that we are moving forward towards a new life, but we want to do this right, with a minimum of mistakes. Thanks ahead of time for any help or advice. Sheri
