Permanent Residency

Does anyone know the answer? I have been married to a Belizean Lady since 2008 I am from the UK and now residing in Belize. I have seen on another website dealing with residency and nationalization that as a spouse of a Belizean I am automatically deemed to be a permanent resident is this so?
