The decision is in.

How do many Expats in Belize feel about the results of the referendum.
It is now going to take best part of 10 years court wrangling to get a decision on wether the southern half of Belize is given to Guatamala to ruin like they have so much of their own land.
According to the line drawn on the map My land remains Belize but I am not certain about the Placencia peninsula and the Hummingbird areas. Corozal is also still Belize on that map but the Guats are also claiming the Cayes. I think there will be a lot less investment/immigration in and to Belize as a result of this. It will scare off a lot of expats .
