Profiles and there usefulness

Hi i am noticing that so many folks are joining the forum , then asking sometimes Broad ranging questions but if trying to answer the Question you check a profile there is nothing there. Resulting is questions like, have you ever been to Belize, or where are you interested in, these questions can be avoided if the profile page has information on it. No one is insisting every box is filled but a complete anonymous posting is not helpful. When asking about costs of living or educational questions Assuming everyone wants comparisons to the USA is not always the case but if the Profile gave an indication of where the Questioner was from could help, For example gas prices are so often claimed to be really expensive, but that is only compared to North America Europe has similar or in some cases higher gas costs. Just my Two pennorth.
