First, let me thank you for allowing me to join your forum which I just joined.
This forum is an excellent source of first hand information and many of my questions were answered already by reading through this forum and of course it doesn't mean that I nothing to ask later. I am older Canadian who is somewhat tired of our cold climate thus considering warmer alternative and Belize is on my short list.
My strategy is not written in stone as I well understand what such transition entails. I lived in few countries so I wouldn't be surprised to have few surprises in Belize.
My first step will be to visit this winter and do low budget travel around the country. I don't seek luxury resort style life but rather more fulfilling down to earth living while making new friends.
