Your move and anything you would have done differently

If you had to start again with your move to Belize, what do you think from your experience's you would do differently to make the transition smoother? I am visiting in early June ( 2022) for a week with my children and would like to be able to take some time to perhaps narrow down areas and see if I can start a plan to make it all work:)
