Hello, I purchase property in Carmelita Gardens (Cayo) and have started the process of building my home which isn't expected to be done until the end of 2023. I plan to move down in July and rent until it's done. My question is can I start the QRP process now since I have an official address or do I have to do everything in person (bank account, filing paperwork, etc.)? I need to figure out a timeline to bring my car and things down and want to avoid the high tariffs at the border.
