Executing an Estate in San Pedro, Belize

Hi,

I am heading down this weekend - to San Pedro, Belize, unfortunately not for a good reason. My brother who has lived there for 5-6 years has just passed away.

I am curious - does any have any experience executing a will for an expat from Canada that was living in Belize. I have to sell his house and also another undeveloped piece of property. I am meeting with a Real Estate agent and a Belizean lawyer.

Would appreciate any advise folks can provide.
