Moving to southern China from Australia

Hi all,

I plan on moving to southern China at the beginning of next year to work as a teacher, and am hoping that anyone with some experience in China can give me some pointers.

Wondering what I should make sure I bring that may be difficult to find, and am happy for any tips, advice, information or warnings that anyone can provide.

Also, I've heard that it can be quite difficult to transfer money back into a native bank account. Can anyone confirm this?
