Brno Dutch/English (speaking) community?

Hi All,
In a few Months I am going to live and work in Brno for a year.
Does anyone has experience living there? Are there any clubs where a lot of expats come together? Or is is best to hook up with the locals (I have to learn the language anyway)
Tips on renting a furbished home/apartment is also welcome I get a lot of mixed information so just add some more...
