Notary Public

I have some property in New Mexico USA that I sold. I am having difficulty trying to find a way of getting the closing documents notarized so I can complete the sale. New Mexico doesn't allow using a virtual Notary Public. I have talked to my Ecuadorian lawyer and he said that the document needs to be translated in Spanish, notarized and apostilled. The alternative is to go to the US Embassy in Quito or Guayaquil. I do not own a car and would have to hire a driver or fly. I live in Crucita, which is approximately 20 miles north of Manta. I have my Ecuadorian Cedula. Any suggestions.
