What is the best way to interface with the Miami Ecuadorian Consulate? I have tried calling them on the phone and I get a message that their mailbox is full. Is sending them an email any better?
At 17 years of age I became a naturalized American US citizen. Now at age 55 I want to claim my Ecuadorian passport which I think I qualify for having been born in Ecuador and I do not think dual citizenship is a problem to either the USA or Ecuador.
In short, I hope somebody in this community would be kind enough to provide any advice on what is the best way to start the process of claiming an Ecuadorian passport from the Miami Ecuadorian Consulate. I tried finding an immigration lawyer with no success. Every lawyer tells me they do not handle second passport requests. Does anybody know what websites I should try? Thank you for your time.
