I've visited and been convinced and I'm returning with plans to buy. How does the sale/purchase of real estate work in ecuador. In the US, there are usually two realtors involved - one for the buyer and one for the seller. In the US, generally, one makes an offer and, if it is accepted, one has 7-10 days for a professional inspection of the property.
Is any of that accurate for Ecuador?
What are any other avenues I should be thinking about (I know, probably just as inexpensive to rent, but I prefer to own).
