Relocating with my dog

I am relocating to Cuenca in April 2022 with my dog and wanted to see if anyone has first hand experience setting up the paperwork and getting the flight details in order. I am flying out of Miami Florida and my dog need a large crate to travel in, so I contacted a few transportation companies that gave me quotes.
If anyone has recently done the travel arrangements themselves and not use the transportation companies I would appreciate their experience.
I have contacted Avianca cargo and they gave me a place to start
