Entry/exit stamp dates confusion

I hope somebody here can clear up my confusion in regard to entry/exit stamps and dates and extensions. Right now I am in Peru and good until the middle of October. I will leave Peru and enter Ecuador about October 12.

This will be my second visit to Ecuador this year - the entry stamp for my first visit was Nov 11, 2022, and I left the country on Jan 17, 2023 (67 days). Now, when I re-enter it will be my first official entry for 2023, so do I get a new 90-day entry + 90-day optional extension? Or, do I get only 90 days because I was in the country for a couple of weeks in January? A bit more to add is that this new 90-day entry stamp will take me across the new year again, into 2024. So, will I get a 90-day extension (based on the 2023 entry) or a new 90-day stamp + optional 90-day extension (because it extends into 2024)?

I'm just trying to plan ahead a bit for my next re-entry to Peru. I expect I will need to spend at least a couple of months in another country (probably Colombia, again) but I am finding this all a bit confusing right at the moment.
