How do I recycle electronics in Ecuador?

I have a piece of electronics that I need to recycle. I took it to a shop, but unfortunately they said it cannot be repaired.

The item contains batteries, circuit boards, and cables. These contain toxic elements that should be properly disposed-of to avoid contamination of the soil and water (eg lead). They also contain valuable materials that are worthwhile to recover (eg gold, copper, lithium).

How can I search-for and find a place that will accept my electronics waste and responsibly recycle & dispose of it?
