Moving to Ecuador?

My husband and I are considering moving there within the next year and a half. We have multiple reasons but a large part is because expenses are so high for everything in the US that I’m concerned about my nest egg disappearing prematurely. I have so many questions but, first, im interested in hearing from people living in different parts of the country and hearing what you like and dislike. Anyone willing to share, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
