Each year my part Greek blood brings me back to my second homeland, the Peloponnese, south of Athens. Over the years I have driven down from Athens to the hidden Greece of SW Peloponnese to the picturesque medieval village of Koroni. I have booked again this year, but this time there are flights from Athens airport down to Kalamata (KLX) as well for convenience. As much information as I can cram is on my personal website http://www.anastasias-koroni-greece.co.uk
Koroni is an area untouched by mass tourism (save when the Athenians are let loose from the city at Easter and August) and the roads are quiet, the wide sandy beaches not squashed liked sardines, the food authentic and the great castles preserved from the Venetian past. Hope my website encourages to visit this beautiful area.
