My husband is working in Chihuahua state and has asked me if I would be interested in moving to be with him (of course I would) - but I am full of questions. I have spent many hours looking over every website I could find that has anything to do with Mexico and moving there. - (Many thanks for your wonderful insights MexicoMike).
My main concern is that I would find gainful employment of some sort. Am I correct in assuming I must work for a Canadian company to apply for a FM3? I am only a government secretary and probably hold no skills that a hundred Mexican countrymen don't already have.
I have many other questions as I am not a person to jump into anything headfirst without checking the water first. My husband says he would be more than happy to support me - not only do I not know if this is allowed, but I have never been unemployed for 21 years- I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Any help would be much appreciated.
P.S.-(I am not of retirement age either)
