My wife and I (Therese and Darrell) are new to expat forum so forgive the duplication. I am new to expat from Phoenix AZ moving by November 1, 2019. I just posted a similar message for Phoenix AZ by mistake. I need people in Mexico to read my post and now I can't find the AZ post...oh well.

Questions: We will fly in mid September to view and hopefully secure a 12 month rental. We are going to become permanent Mexico Visa holders. I have read much on the forum but have some remaining questions

1. We fly in on Volaris Airlines from Phoenix and hope to spend 4-5 days at a Bed & Breakfast in the Ajijiic area. Any recommendations for a BNB? Uber or rental for that length of stay?
2. We plan to bring 4-5 suitcases with clothing and hope to store it locally? Any problem there and do you have any recommended storage places?
3. We have been dealing with Lake Access Real Estate. I would really like a call from a real estate personal and have requested a call but as of yet still waiting. We will definitely want to rent for at least a year...then we will see. Any suggestions...probably a nice 1 bedroom since it is just two of us?
4. We hope to drive down in our car with our goods, besides clothing in a Hyundai, and then return to car to Nogales AZ to sell it...and/or Phoenix later.
5. It sounds like we should buy a car in Mexico from what I learned on the forum. What about Mexico banking in order to purchase a car? Any recommendations?
6. PREJUDICE...any noticeable difference from the locals near Ajijiic and/or Quadalajar towards expats since our political reputation has turned nasty?
6. We are both retired teachers. Any volunteer opportunities in the local area?

Sorry the list is kind of long...would love anyone in the Ajijiic area to call us on "Whatsapp" toll free by downloading this free app. My name is Darrell and my number is: 1-480-528-0989. My wife's name is Therese. Thanks in advance.
