After almost two years of living in Yucatan, it is time for a change. My wife and I planning to relocate to the different part of Mexico in second half of 2024. We hope someone living or used to live in Oaxaca state will provide us with valuable information. We are looking for a quiet (by Mexican standard) neighborhood to live (apartment or house). Safety, warm weather (hot is OK too), clean air, access to public transportation, gym, a reliable internet is very important. Night live, restaurants, pubs, shopping malls etc. is not our lifestyle. We are planning to do a lot of scout trips to different places to see and feel the area. The current plan is to visit Oaxaca de Juarez next month. If you have any suggestion about neighborhoods we should look at. It would be great. Also, any suggestions about different cities or towns would be helpful as well. On our first trip we also plan to visit Puerto Escondido. You help is greatly appreciated.
