For the purpose of marriage:

Is it true that your birth certificate or the translation of this, cannot be older than 1 year? In other words: does the Registro Civil (state of Jalisco) not accept a genuine birth certificate of 5 years old (with apostille stamp and translation of Perito Truductor from a different state, since there was no perito in Jalisco for my language)
