If you have found a pleasant, walkable, safe smaller town or small city with a good variety of restaurants and good medical hospitals, please tell me about it. I prefer a historic town in the temperate interior with some culture. I already have homes on both coasts and am looking for someplace more comfortable in the summer months where I can walk to lunch and still pursue my passion for gardening.
